Dealing with Feelings

Sonographer Stress and Burnout

Stress and burnout are significant problems for the sonographer as well as for other hospital workers. It is therefore essential that the ultrasound community realize that these problems exist. These growing conditions, their consequences, and possible solutions are presented here; and the author suggests methods for coping with stress and heavy workloads.
