Image Formation in Real-Time Ultrasound

A review of image formation in realftime ultrasound is presented. Te techni;que of echoranging combined with beam scanning is explained with illustrative; examples. Factors afcting: lateraliresolution are discussed. The interdependence of frame rate, scan line density, and scan range is seen.
