Ultrasound Diagnosis of a Torsed Appendix Testis

The role of ultrasound is key in the diagnosis of torsed appendix testis. Testicular torsion is a surgical emergency, whereas torsion of the appendix testis is managed conservatively with medication. The authors present an example of sonographically diagnosed torsed appendix testis.
