Division of Ultrasound, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado Pseudoaneurysms of the femoral artery occur frequently, often as a postinterventional complication.1 Iatrogenically induced pseudoaneurysms of the common carotid artery are less frequent. We report a case of a pseudoaneurysm of the common carotid artery that occurred following attempted placement of an internal jugular line.
