A case of leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is presented.LMS is a potentially rapidly growing malignantuterine tumor that is thought to be indistinguishablefrom leiomyoma by ultrasound criteria. The authorspresent a case that shows extremely rapid rate ofgrowth of an LMS and demonstrates its sonographicappearance.
