Hepatic hemangiomas are mesenchymal (embryonic precursor of connective tissue, lymph and blood vessels) in origin and are usually solitary. 1Hemangiomas are composed of masses of blood vessels that are atypical or irregular in arrangement and size. Etiology remains unknown.
