A Review of Adenomyomatosis and Gallbladder Sonography

Adenomyomatosis, characterized by excessive proliferation of the surface epithelium and thickening of the wall, is a benign tumor of the gallbladder. Sonographic appearance, symptoms, scanning protocol, and types of adenomyomatosis are discussed.
