How to Interpret Equations in Ultrasound

Ultrasound physics, like other physics topics, is a maze of equations. This article presents an easy approach to understanding equations. This includes breaking down an equation into its components and understanding the function of each part. An overview of variable relationships is also included. Along with examples through the text, three word problem exercises are offered for practice and additional understanding.
