Burkitt's lymphoma is one of the fastest growing tumors, and it primarily affects children and young adults. Since sonography is often the first imaging procedure performed in these patients, knowledge of the wide range of sonographic appearances of this type of tumor can aid the sonographer in recognizing Burkitt's lymphoma. In this report, we review and illustrate the sonographic appearance of Burkitt's lymphoma involving abdominal organs, including the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys, bowel, and mesentery.

Key Words: Burkitt's lymphoma • sonography • gallbladder • pancreas • renal • mesentery • lymphadenopathy • gastrointestinal • ovary
