The Value of Transvaginal Ultrasound and Doppler in the Evaluation of Ovarian TeratomasProgram of Diagnostic Ultrasound, Allied Health Department, Bellevue Community College, Bellevue, Washington
Department of Ultrasound and the Vascular Flow Laboratory, Providence Hospital, Everett, Washington. Detection of ovarian teratomas can be a challenge to the sonographer. This case report demonstrates the value of transvaginal scanning and Doppler methods to improve detection and evaluation of these pelvic masses.
