Soft Tissue Sarcoma of the Right Thigh

This is a case study of extremity soft-tissue sarcomaof the right thigh. Ultrasound identified amass and asurgical specimen diagnosed malignant fibroushistiocytoma, the histological subtype of soft-tissuesarcoma. Soft-tissue sarcoma is a relatively raretype of cancer in which the patient's prognosis is dependenton the histologic grade, size, and location ofthe tumor.
